I have since been reunited with my belongings to include my books and bibles, typewriter, clothing, and whatever else I was allowed to take with me...
...while a sizeable amount of my property I decided to give away to a handful of needy inmates before I left.
In any event, I have met several Christian men who live in the housing unit I'm at now, which is a blessing. I'm hoping to get to know them better as time goes on. Nevertheless, this has been a time of testing for me. It's been a whirlwind of emotions - the loss of friends, many whom I've known for a long time, while the transfer itself was sudden and unexpected, and without the opportunity to say goodbye to a bunch of good guys.
I know the Lord is still with me, however. So I'll be fine. But I am in a state of deep anguish. The very thought of more than likely never seeing any of my friends from Sullivan again is painful and gut-wrenching.
