For the moment, I am under restricted movement until May 11th...
This means that I am limited as to what I can and cannot do. The doctor wants me to stay off my feet as much a possible, so the injured tendon could heal. For now, however, whenever I have to leave my cell I must travel with a pair of wooden crutches. And let me tell you, I hate those clumsy things. It feels as if I'm walking on stilts. Using crutches is no fun at all.
Fortunately, I didn't end up in the hospital on prolonged bed rest. At least now, I could use my typewriter whenever I need to. So I've been catching up on correspondence. One could only imagine the endless hours of boredom I'd be experiencing at this moment if I was trapped in the hospital.
