"If I could speak all the languages of earth and of angels, but didn't
love others, I would only be a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal."

love others, I would only be a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal."
1 Corinthians 13:1 NLT
People will sometimes ask me if I have a Facebook page...
I do not. As a prisoner, I have no direct access to the Internet, nor to any social media sites. And they would also ask if I was aware of those who appear on various social media sites, where they'd make it their business to talk about me using vulgar and hateful terms.
Yes, over the years I have heard about those who harangue and harass me for my past crimes and transgressions. Some even lashing out at me because of my public confession that Jesus has become my Lord, Savior, and Messiah. And still others will blast me for my renunciation over my past involvement with Satan, and for allowing myself to come under his control, thus bringing harm to innocent lives.
And although I have repented for those crimes and have long since committed my life to serving the Lord, these so-called haters continue to abound. They're very vocal about it, as well. But such is life.
I have made it my policy to follow the Scriptures and the words of Jesus Christ. Meaning, I'm not to speak bad about those who hate me. Nor do I wish them evil. Instead, I pray for those who despise me, even if they feel justified in doing so.
Jesus Himself asks all His followers to love our enemies, and to pray for those who hate us (Matthew 5:44). Therefore, by the grace of God, this is what I've been doing, and what I will continue to do.
Even at this very moment, I hereby humbly ask the Almighty God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, who is the Creator of the universe and of all humankind, to bless all who hate me. "Lord, please show kindness, compassion and mercy to these individuals. May You overlook their dislike for me. Instead, let them see the love You have for them, because Your love is the cure for their self-poisoning pent-up rage, which in the end will only serve to make them sick. Amen."
