God is protecting Israel...
Yesterday, I heard on the news that some terrorists were discovered trying to bring a 1,300-pound bomb into Israel. Although they managed to run away, their truck with the explosive device inside it was left behind. The report said they were discovered by a "freak coincidence."
I, however, know it was the Lord who allowed these terrorists to be found out. The news report said that this was the biggest bomb ever before seen in the nation. It had the potential to blow up several city blocks. Obviously, they were hoping to detonate this deadly device on Rosh Hashanah, the Jewish new year, and one of the most sacred days for Jews everywhere. But thanks to the Lord, their wicked plans did not work. For the Bible says, "He that watches over Israel neither slumbers nor sleeps" (Psalm 121:4). Hallelujah!
I serve a mighty God. And His protective abilities have been fresh on my mind all this week, as I had been reading Psalm 91 for several days in a row.
