The month of September is here...
...the weather has been nearly perfect, and the trees are showing the first stages of changing colors. This month I hope to rest a bit, even as I sense a growing unrest in the world. But I feel the need to be refreshed, both spiritually and physically. As much as possible, I want to spend more time in prayer and reading my Bible. It is time to recharge my spiritual batteries and then, Lord willing, pick up the pace in October after the Jewish holidays.
At the same time, I have this sense of foreboding, regarding Israel and the Middle East. During my prayer time this morning, I wrote down the following message, which I truly believe God wants me to share as a means of help, encouragement, and even warning for others.

| “There is so much unrest in the Middle East and in Israel. Man is always talking about peace with his mouth but making war in his heart and with his hands. Remember how the Lord said what would be happening in the End Times; the Old and New Testaments talk so much about this. Very evil days are approaching for Israel, for America, and for the world. What I am saying is nothing strange or weird. People can scoff at the "Holy Book" all they want, but God's Word will outlive us all.” |
