Victory

"For everyone who has been born of God overcomes the world.
​And this is the victory that has overcome the world: our faith!"
1 John 5:4 ESV
 
For those who've been asking as to what I've been doing these days... 

...not much has changed other than my having to deal with some unique challenges which are to be expected. 
 
With an angry devil on the loose, there's always a new trial or obstacle that has to be confronted. And in the name of the Lord, they're being taken care of. These are the battles that belong to the Lord to fight, and to win. 
 
The Word of God assures me that no weapon which has been established against me as one of God's children, shall succeed. Likewise, no wall of opposition that is being raised to stop me from carrying out my mission, can stop me either. This is a promise from the Almighty himself, and He doesn't lie.
 
And so it is. My trust is in the Lord. He alone made heaven and earth. He created humankind as well. Therefore, I can say just what King David of Israel said in generations past, "The Lord of hosts is with us the God of Jacob is our refuge, and our fortress" (Psalm 46:11).
 
I need to remind myself of this truth every day. Amen!
