"For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers,
against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places."
Ephesians 6:12 KJV
One of the things I'm grateful for is how the Bible speaks about spiritual warfare...

How we, who are followers of Messiah Jesus, do not wrestle with our fellow human beings. Instead, we battle demonic entities who operate from the unseen realm that's invisible to the naked eye.
Plain and simple, our enemies are demons who, unfortunately, often work through people. These ruthless demons follow Satan, their leader. Yet we pray for those who are being used by evil spirits, oftentimes without their knowing it.
But this is why the Christian must always be filled with the Holy Spirit, along with a working knowledge of the Scriptures, which is the word of God.
This is serious business. There really are evil spirits out there who would destroy us if they could. However, the good news is that we have God's Spirit living inside us. And He is "more powerful" than any demon, and even more powerful than the devil himself. As the Bible declares, "Greater is He that is in you, than he that is in the world" (1 John 4:4).
