As a man who is shut away inside a maximum-security prison…

I am thankful that I have a degree of freedom to where I could share my faith with those of the outside. Armed with just a tablet, I can reach the furthest regions of the world with Christ's message of hope and forgiveness. And I consider it a privilege to do so. It's a gift from God!
 
In addition, I am likewise eager to encourage my fellow Christians in their journey with Jesus, as well.  We all need to be built up in our faith, and this includes me. I'm thankful for my friends who come from all walks of life. They are well grounded in the Word of God, and they love the church. We're a family of liked minded individuals who seek to serve our Savior, and to stay faithful to Him all the remaining days of our lives.
 
With this said, today I sent the following exhortation to a friend overseas to encourage him, and to help build up his faith. I wrote: 

“The Lord is with you, my dear brother. He is mighty to save. He will keep you safe, and He will lead you to whatever portion of the Scriptures you need for each particular day. Likewise, the Lord will show you the right path to take, and the right decision to make when needed. So be at peace. You'll do just fine. The Lord Jesus is our hope, so keep your trust in Him. And please read Proverbs 3:5-6. Yours in God's love… brother David.”
