"This charge I commit unto thee, my son Timothy,
according to the prophetic words which were spoken
over you, so that you might war a good warfare."

...which has since become something of a partial one. Although many things have yet to be restored, such as school classes and weekday Bible studies, we've been allowed to move about the facility more. This is a good sign that things are slowly returning to normal operations.
But for me, with our Bible studies and other events I would normally be attending in the evening still canceled, it has allowed me the time to do other things. I'm now doing more personal writing, along with getting a break from an otherwise busy schedule.
I've been preparing future sermon messages along with lessons to be used for Bible studies that I've yet to give. Besides, I too need to spend time in God's word, and with the Lord himself.
My current topic is focused on the spiritual warfare that every follower of Messiah Jesus will encounter as we travel with Him on life's road. We will be tempted by the devil, and even by our own lusts. We will be mocked and hated and lied about. We will experience rejection too, and the list goes on.
But the good news is that we can overcome whatever comes against us, be it Satan, hateful people, or even our own weak flesh. "Because the Holy Spirit lives in you, and He is greater than the devil and all the powers of the world, you therefore have the victory over all of them through Him." This is my personal version of 1 John 4:4 in the New Testament.
"For whatsoever is born of God overcomes the world: and this is the victory that overcomes the world, even our faith" (1 John 5:4 KJV).
