I really needed to be alone with the Lord this evening...
So I went to the yard with the hope of walking and quietly praying. There were only about twelve men outside, as a heavy, freezing rain was coming down. Within minutes after going to the yard, I was soaked and chilled to the bone. And I ended up spending three full hours out there.
But it was worth it. The Lord always knows what He's doing. For another Christian brother also came out of his cellblock with the same idea. It just so happened that this brother, Lee,* was going through a big struggle. So I was able to pray with and minister to him. God has great ways of working things out for the best and bringing His children together.
