I was finally released from the prison's Infirmary yesterday afternoon around 1:30...
I had been in the Infirmary for five days for observation after I blacked out and ended up banging my head on the floor in the outdoor recreation yard. It happened in an instant, and other than a noticeable lump on my forehead, I was fine.
But when all is said, my passing out was a blessing in disguise. I needed the rest. And although I was restless at having to be confined to a room with nothing more than a bed, toilet, and sink, I did have a Bible with me. And I also managed to get hold of a pen and writing pad. This was more than enough. Having these three items was all I needed. I was good to go!
Nevertheless, it was good to be back in my own cell, which I like to refer to as "Ministry Headquarters." For it is here where I have my trusty typewriter at the ready, along with plenty of office supplies. And where I also have my Bibles and reference books all within easy reach.
So after spending the remainder of Saturday cleaning my cell after being away for five days, it was back to work. A rested and refreshed David was sitting at my little tabletop desk answering mail, updating my online journal, and was back to firing away at the devil and his demon soldiers, while at the same time letting the world know that Jesus saves.
