Today the Lord reminded me once again how beautiful I am...
He has taught me the value, sanctity and sacredness of each and every person. There was a time, years ago, when I was convinced in my mind that I was an ugly monster, an animal, a soldier for the devil. I was in total darkness and torment, of others. Tragically, too, I did not value the lives of others.
But as the Messiah began to heal my mind and spirit, He also began to show me my own beauty and worth to Him. Now this may seem totally absurd to some who will be reading this. You can think what you want. But I know what God has done for my life and what He has revealed to me.
Everything that Jesus Christ makes is beautiful. I am a "new creation" in Christ. Today God says that, to Him, I am beautiful. The world may not see my beauty, but this beauty can be seen in the eyes of the Beholder, and this 'Beholder' is my Creator.
I am a royal diadem in my Lord's crown. I am the apple of my heavenly Father's eyes. I am His child, His beloved. He has engraved my name on the palm of His right hand and has signed my name in His book, the "Lamb's Book of Life." My name has been written into this sacred book with the blood of God's Son, Yeshua.
Today I was meditating on this verse:
"He hath made every thing beautiful in His time: also He hath set the world in their heart, so that no man so that no man can find out the work that God maketh from the beginning to the end"
(Ecclesiastes 3:11).
