Today is my birthday...
I am forty-seven years old, and I have been in prison for almost twenty-three years. I thank God that I got this far, and it was only by His mercy; I sure don't deserve it.
It has been a blessing to be able to witness for the Lord from where I am. Who would have ever thought twenty or so years ago that my life would have amounted to anything positive?
The devil had his plan for my life, and there was a time when it seemed as if it were being fulfilled. But then along came Jesus Christ and He flipped the script. Jesus turned everything around. He extended His love and mercy towards me, a wicked man. By His shed blood on the cross and by His grace I was saved. Now it is God's plan that is being fulfilled. "So long, old devil!"
