"From the rising of the sun unto the going down of the same, the Lord's name is to be praised."
Psalm 113:3 KJV

Psalm 113:3 KJV
I do not recall a summer being this hot and humid . . .
The heat has been unrelenting, and the humidity, dreadful! Yet in the midst of oppressive weather the name of the Lord is to be honored and praised.
Therefore, I want to give thanks to my Creator for yet another day to worship and serve him, even though I've been praying for fall to come early this year. Like the motto of a dedicated mailman who has promised to deliver the mail in rain, sleet, snow, or sunshine, I've made a promise to the Lord to serve and praise Him no matter what the weather is . . . even if I'm slowly melting while my clothes are drenched in sweat.
God's Word tells His children to give Him thanks and praise. And when all is said, the Lord deserves to be praised be it day or night, wet or dry, hot or cold.
And so I give my God the thanks and praise for all He has done for me. While at the same time, I'm pleading for my heavenly Father to please lower the temperature. And if He doesn't, I'm still going to praise Him, for he is worthy. Amen! :)
