Even in seasons of storms and trials, the Lord is doing great things...
One of which is allowing me to receive beautiful letters from different places, even from lands far away. Kind and encouraging words, many from strangers, who write to tell me how my story of redemption has given them hope, and filled their hearts with happiness. And knowing of the positive impact I'm having on others, has in turn filled my heart with joy.
Ever since I first received Jesus as my Lord and Savior back in the late 1980s, I have been diligently sharing my faith via letters. And since then the number of letters I have written may very well be in the thousands. It's one of the callings Christ has given me. This being to lift up His name to a spiritually thirsty world, and I want to remain faithful to the task.
Therefore, armed with an ordinary ink pen, and with an outdated electric typewriter, I have been scribbling away, or typing out neatly crafted letters, letting the world know that Jesus saves. For me, it is an honor to serve the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob in this capacity. It's a labor of love.
Likewise, it's a joy to receive inspirational letters as well.
