I watched the sun coming up over the horizon...
During my time of prayer this morning, the Lord gently reminded me to keep looking ahead and to forget the sins, mistakes and failures of the past. God's mercies are renewed each morning. Each day is like a fresh start. To me, then, the appearance of the sun represents a new beginning.
The days that have passed are only as waters gone by. And as the Scripture says, "This is the day which the Lord has made," So I am going to "rejoice and be glad in it." Thus, I am writing my journal early because this is going to be a busy day. There's a chapel service this afternoon from one to four o'clock. Then tonight is another service from 6:20 to 8 P.M.
I know God is going to touch some hearts in the hours to come.
