"Forgetting what is behind, and reaching forth to what lies ahead, I press toward
the finish line, and the prize of knowing the high calling of God in Messiah Jesus."
Philippians 3:13-14.
I'm glad that another difficult and challenging year is coming to its end...
the finish line, and the prize of knowing the high calling of God in Messiah Jesus."
Philippians 3:13-14.
I'm glad that another difficult and challenging year is coming to its end...
But I don't mean this in a negative way. While I faced some hard and strange trials, the pressures I experienced from them allowed my faith to become stronger than it has ever been. And while there are still battles yet ahead, my confidence in the Lord Jesus, and my faith in Him, continue to grow.
In 2025, I encountered seasons of burnout and exhaustion. I came down with pneumonia and bronchitis not once, but twice. This was all stress related. Yet by the grace and mercy of God, I was able to persevere and prevail.
And it was the same for other strange trials, as well. Such as being accused of and investigated for crimes that were committed in the past, which law enforcement referred to as "cold cases." This has become a new thing for me, as amateur podcasters, with an obvious dislike towards me, have apparently made it their goal to find unsolved crimes and pin them on me. Cases that I never heard of before, and are now almost fifty years old.
It all seems so surreal. Yet in spite of demonic opposition and false accusations, my story of forgiveness, redemption, and hope, continues to advance. It is touching hearts and pointing hungry souls to Jesus for salvation. As the Scripture declares, "For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved" (Romans 10:13).
This all the Lord's doing. Amen!
