Blessed

"O Lord of hosts, blessed is the man that trusts in Thee."
Psalm 84:12 KJV
 
Truly, I can honestly say that I'm a blessed man...

God has been merciful to me. He has shown me His kindness and compassion. He has held me up when I was weak. And He has allowed me to experience His love, even as I live out my life in a maximum security prison.
 
Likewise, I am thankful for every person who has prayed for me, even if it was only one time. While many, I know, have been praying for me every day. They've been praying for my beloved birth family as well, whom I've been estranged from for more than forty-five years. 
 
While others have faithfully prayed for the victims of my crimes, and for their families as well. These grieving and hurting people have suffered because of me, yet they are not forgotten. With such a loving and valiant army of prayer warriors whom the Lord Jesus has graced me with, how could I be anything other than blessed?
 
Even Messiah Jesus Himself confirms what I've written here. In the apostle John's gospel account, the Lord was quoted as saying to His disciple Thomas, "Blessed are they that have not seen Me, yet they have believed" (John 20:29).
 
That's me! I've never seen Messiah Jesus with my own eyes, yet I believe in Him one hundred percent.
